week and weekend #1 of spring quarter are over! it’s been very eventful, fun, tiring, emotional and busy, but very good (:

i’ve been using spotify again ((: pandora &youtube have been letting me down with skips and glitches sooo this is working much better. i think i’ve just been having computer issues in general.. my wifi doesn’t even work on my house sometimes so i must go to campus -____- haha. anywho tis been a good weekend &its all studies &spotify from here on out till i meet the california sunshine once again :3
in the midst of my busyness and my distractions, god managed to sneak a few minutes of silence into my day, and these words popped into my head. “be faithful in prayer.” i looked up the verse and ended up reading around it. this passage really encourages me in the places that i needed it, reminds me of what is important, reinforces what god wants me to do, gives me peace in remaining still and patient and brings together events of prayer training, joint prayer meeting, small group, family and relationships.
in Romans 12, under the heading of “love in action,” the lord speaks:
“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. soo my grandma sometimes feeds the dogs some foods that they aren’t supposed to eat, so my uncle put these cute little reminders on the fridge(:
“don’t let the dogs eat hotdogs, we don’t want a dog-eat-dog-household.”
“don’t feed the dogs spaghetti, they aren’t italian.”
